If you are looking to buy a car, especially if you are an Republic of Ireland buyer... looking to import, you can trust this dealership implicitly. I promised I’d write about my experience to assist other buyers if everything went to plan, and they exceeded all expectations. Communication was excellent throughout, and everything was delivered exactly on time as agreed.I bought a January 2024 VW ID.7 that had a mainland UK registration. The website stated the car would be completely free of VRT, VAT, and Import Duties under the Windsor Framework. This was 100% true. Because Gary and the team provided all the customs documentation (including the TSS), the entire registration process in the Republic cost me exactly: €0 at the NCTS centre (no VRT, no customs duty), €11.20 for the tyre recycling fee, ~€40 for the physical number plates, €120 for the annual road tax.They have their own on-site body shop, so a couple of minor marks were repaired perfectly before collection. The car looked and felt brand new when I picked it up, and it was fully charged and ready for the trip home.My process:- I set up a GBP account in the Revolut app and transferred the funds over a few days. I upgraded to a Revolut Premium account for just one month (€9), which eliminated currency exchange fees. Doing this instead of using a traditional bank like AIB or BOI saved me roughly €500-600. I was able to trigger the final transfer instantly right there in the office while collecting the car.- The dealership is close to the Belfast train station, making it an easy trip up from Dublin/the south.- Book your NCTS VRT appointment quickly. Make sure you have absolutely all your paperwork ready (including your PPSN, ID, utility bills, and the documentation Gary gives you). Also, know exactly where the chassis number is on the car to speed things up.Gary, Lyndsay, and the team made what could have been a complicated process completely stress-free. Excellent customer service, very easy to book test drive & had the car in pristine condition ready for when I got there. Paperwork all 100%, which made it extremely easy for registering the car in... I recently bought my first car from Gary and Lyndsay, both of them are absolutely genuine people and fantastic to deal with. The car was spotless, fully serviced with no corners cut - everything was... fully looked at and replaced if necessary before the sale (they provided a sheet which shown they had changed brake pads, tyres battery etc.) If I was ever to buy from Northern Ireland again it would be them I would go to no questions asked.
